Students' Feedback

Nicknamed ‘The Magic City’, Shanghai is a mesmerizing city full of diversities and contradictions. In every nook and cranny of Shanghai, both modern and ancient buildings can at the same time be found. The contradictory mix of everything in Shanghai, however, is not awkward but wonderful. Unlike the monotonous Hong Kong, Shanghai gave me a lot of surprise and feelings. I was also shocked by the application of technologies in people’s daily life. The virtual online payment system is well-established that allows quick payment and people no longer need to carry notes or coins. Indeed, I was a bit embarrassed when the cashiers were not used to receiving cash. (Cheng Pan Fai, programme participant of 2018)
